The Education and Youth Departments of the Euro-Africa Division of SDA organize every three years an International Student Congress through AMiCUS (Adventist Ministry to College and University Students) dealing with relevant topics for adventist students, chosen by themselves.

The last encounters took place in 1999, Canet de Mar, Spain ("The Bible and the Mediterranean Culture"); 2002, Eisenberg, Germany ("In the Steps of the Reformers"), and 2005, Iesolo, Italy ("Incredible Faith: Is it reasonable to believe in the 21st century?").

The topic chose for the present Congress in 2008, Cernica, Romania ("Warming up: Facing the Ecology challenges in the light of the Bible and Science") addresses one of the most urgent questions for our times: the Christian responsibility in face of the deterioration of our planet.
